Tim was born in Imperial Valley, California to Clyde and Joan Huff as the middle child of five (one girl and four boys). His sister was the oldest of the five. As farmers, they worked the ground that Tim’s Great Grandfather homesteaded 100 years earlier. There on the farm Tim learned how to work hard, but most importantly, who his Creator was and what He did for him. Tim prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior at home with his mother after a Sunday morning service. He remembers coming home knowing that he couldn't get to heaven just because his parents were believers. Tim knew he needed to have his own relationship with Jesus. His mom explained what Jesus did for him and how He is waiting for Tim to accept Him. There in their living-room, Tim knelt and asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior.
After high school Tim attended Arizona College of the Bible and then on to Cheyenne Aero Tech. He worked in the aviation field for eighteen years before going into full time ministry in 2002. On December 19, 1987, Tim married his beautiful wife Charmaine. She grew up as a missionary kid in Mexico and attended Arizona College of the Bible where she graduated with her BA in Elementary Education.
God has blessed Tim and Charmaine with four wonderful young men, Ethan, Jonathan, Josiah and Micaiah who love their Savior. They are active in sports, with track being their favorite. When they’re not busy with school activities, they’re busy with church activities. Ethan plays the guitar and Jonathan plays the drums on the youth worship team and they enjoy it a lot.
Tim has always had a passion for youth, to see them know and grow in their relationship with Jesus and to reach their peers.
