J.L. Packard once wrote, “The Greek word agape love seems to be virtually a Christian invention — a new word for a new thing. It is almost non-existent before the New Testament. Agape draws its meaning directly from the revelation of God in Christ. It is not a form of natural affection, but a supernatural fruit that comes from the Holy Spirit. It is a matter of the will rather than a feeling for Christians must love even those they dislike. It is the basic element in Christ-likeness.”

We go around life as humans saying, we love this, or we love that, but what does that really mean? Is there more to it than we make it out to be? Pastor David speaks on that this week with, “What’s Love Got to Do With It?”
